In searching for black powder, A group of European mercenaries in China; however, they are imprisoned within the Great Wall. They discover a secret army that maintains and defends the Great Wall of China against a horde of monstrous creatures called Taoties. Later, William Garrin, a mercenary figures a way to defeat the Taoties and joins the warriors to protect the region.
