Story:
Arthur Fleck is a failed comedian Arthur Fleck. He
suffers from many mental illnesses, including one which causes him
to laugh uncontrollably when he is nervous and often gets him into bad
situations. Arthur wears two masks -- the one
he paints for his day job as a clown, and the guise he projects in a futile
attempt to feel like he's part of the world around him. After
being brutally beaten, having his medication cut off, and being publically
humiliated by the comedian he idolizes. Arthur's life begins out-of-control into delusions,
violence, and anarchy until he eventually transforms into Gotham's infamous
Clown-Prince of Crime known as the Joker.
